When children and young adults engage in upbeat music, dancing, acting, and other performing arts, they do something positive with their free time. Such programs instill pride and a sense of self-worth and dignity among participants.
We will soon be partnering up with the Battig Music Foundation and St. Scholastica's College of Music in Manila, to support their program that identifies musically gifted children from impoverished areas of Manila. The program teaches the children classical music, and also provides free instruments such as violins, cellos, wind instruments, and drums. Successful graduates are able to earn a living performing music, or go on to international musical training programs that lead to placement in performing orchestras.
